The subjects of the analysis are 307 female students in Hyogo Prefecture. The survey was conducted in June 2008.The results obtained are as follows: 1) The mean rate for selecting 24 subjective symptoms was 48.1% and the average number of theselection was 11.5. 2) As to the conditions of dietary intake, a good many students skipped breakfast and drank soft-drinksexcessively. 3) With regard to the frequency of food intake, a number of the subjects were less likely to eat such basic foods as vegetables, fruits, milk, tofu/beans and seaweeds. 4) Those who had fewer light-colored vegetables, fruits and fish/meat were more likely to notice their symptoms. 5) Those whose nutrient balance scores were low were likely to skip breakfast and lunch. And those who had between-meal eating were more likely to notice their symptoms. 6) As to the health consciousness, those who have an unpleasant awakening, low self-assessment of health and fitness were more likely to notice their symptoms.
