年制大学に在籍する看護学生の認知症高齢者のBPSD（behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia：以下BPSD とする）の症状に対するイメージについて明らかにすることである．また今後の認知症教育における示唆を得ようとするものである．認知症の症状の中でもBPSD は，様々な要因が加わることによって引き起こされるため個別性が高く，経験不十分な看護学生にとって困惑の原因となっている．実習で出会うことも少なくない認知症高齢者のBPSD について，その症状を中心に学生の持つイメージを調査し検討することは，今後の教育方法を検討する上でも重要である．調査の結果，BPSD の中でも大声や物盗られ妄想はイメージしやすいが，常同行動や幻覚，異食はイメージしづらく，症状によりイメージに違いがあることが明らかになった．また，イメージと知識は関連し，いずれも実習を終えている学生の方が高いことが分かった．これらのことから，BPSD
